I have four children. Two of them are in high school already, and two of them are not even in kindergarten yet! I really wanted to take my children to the United States for a day trip but had no idea what paperwork I would need to do that since all the rules had recently changed. I am fairly amazed at some of the opportunities that our young people have access to. I am totally a proponent of this type learning experience, and believe it should be integrated into any advanced learning curriculum.

My husband and I like to research products before we make big purchases. A few years ago we decided to put exercise equipment in one of our kids old rooms. We started to read exercise equipment reviews online to find the products that would work best for us.

Being a stay-at-home mom is the greatest job I have ever had. I love getting to spend time with my young son everyday. There’s always something new to explore. One of our favorite things to do together, though, is taking train rides into the city to visit his daddy for lunch.

Once a week, we walk over to the train station with a picnic basket and a backpack filled with a blanket and a few toys. We wait patiently for our train to arrive, playing word games as we wait. When the train comes, we take the 20 minute train ride into the city.

While on our train rides, we read books or we play road bingo with things we see along the way. My husband meets us at the train station, and we walk to a park together. It’s relaxing enjoying our picnic lunch as a family, and after an hour or so we get to enjoy another exciting train ride back home.

I know we are making memories each time we take one of our train rides into the city. I cherish these moments with my son and husband, and I know my son will look back on them fondly when he is older.

I went to university several years ago. I decided on a major with which I could easily find a job. It was a hard major with lots of science classes. Four years and one semester later I got a job outside my field. Then I got married and had a baby.
