How To Buy Cheap Political Signs

Category: Government & PoliticsMike Hertz @ 4:25 pm

There are a number of ways that political campaign managers can reduce the cost of buying political signs. One good way to get cheap political signs is to buy them in large volume. The best prices go to those who can buy thousands of political signs. However, it is possible to get a good price by buying several hundred signs. Many local political races, even in small towns, can benefit from an order of 500 or more signs. At some places, the price per sign drops a lot as the quantity increases to the first thousand signs. After that, the discounts get smaller. That is why buying several hundred more signs may be worth it.

Another way to get good prices on cheap political signs is to simplify the design of the sign. The sign will be cheaper if there are fewer colors used. Two colors is a lot cheaper than full color. Printing on only one side of the sign will be cheaper than having printing on two sides. However, printing on both sides makes sense when it is possible to get a lot of people to view from both sides. Finally, size of the sign makes a big difference in price. A small sign appropriate for a front yard will be a lot cheaper than a road sign. Campaign managers can choose from these various techniques to lower the cost of buying political signs.

Keeping in Touch with VA Roanoke News

Category: Government & PoliticsMike Hertz @ 3:15 pm

I work strange hours. I work the midnight shift three times a week, followed by doubles three days the next week. So I am not usually at home when the news is on television. This always bothered me because I had always been a news junkie. Nothing was more interesting to me than the current events of the world, from Middle Eastern wars to local humanitarian stories; I feel a need to be informed. Last year, my wife thought of a brilliant solution to my need to be elbow deep in current events, she got me a subscription to the VA Roanoke news. The paper shows up once a day, at the same time every day. It is always in my hand before I leave for work or on the stoop when I get home.

The news has improved my commute too! I used to dread to bus ride to work. I went through some hairy neighborhoods, and the fellow riders were not always people with whom I wished to have deep and meaningful conversations. Now I just bury my nose into the VA Roanoke newspaper and see what Dilbert is up to. The final advantage of VA Roanoke news is its impartiality. I like it when a newspaper does not push a political opinion, but rather is simply facts.
